Rouge Bunny Rouge make-up artists chose only the lightest textures for a perfecting look, and combined them with our two new Loose Glitter Pigment colours in soft, dusty shades to re-create a scintillating version of smoky eyes, without looking overdone.

This season Rouge Bunny Rouge make-up artists recommend light versions of make-up without foundation, even if you're looking for an effortless but glamorous look like 'Beyond the Looking Glass'. We underline the naturalness of the skin and cover it only with a moisturising and mattifying primer, with a hint of Luminous Skin Wand and Glide Concealer to achieve an even skin tone without any mask effect. Champagne gold and scintillating taupe tones around the eyes add the festiveness to our look, while the lips appear naturally glossy with a shimmering Sheer Lipstick.

Follow our simple step-by-step guide to recreate the "Beyond the Looking Glass" look.




Face

An even, matte tan is absolutely required if you skip foundation; apply our Mattifying Primer METAMORPHOSES with your fingertips over your whole face to remove unwanted shine completely for a suede glow.

Light up and balance your skin tone with our Luminous Skin Wand FINE-SPUN LIGHT using the RBR Concealer Brush 004. Apply the lightweight texture over small lines and dark under eye circles to wake-up your face; blend evenly either with the brush or your fingertips.

You can also use our Luminous Skin Wand to give brows a slightly bleached appearance, as seen on runway shows. Take a tiny amount with the Brows Brush 006 and sweep over your eye brows until they appear naturally combed.

To cover any secrets (imperfections, light scars or fine lines) dab on our Glide Concealer NAKED DISGUISE and blend the creamy texture easily with your fingertips.
For a flush of warmth, a light luminous satin-finish and for a sculptured face sweep our Bronzing Glow Powder AS IF IT WERE SUMMER STILL… over your chin and cheek bones and blend out- and upwards over your temples using our Face Contour Brush 012.



Eyes
To prime your eye lid and to safeguard the longevity of other eye shadows sweep the champagne 'Brocade Skipper' (Long-lasting Cream Eye Shadows SILK AETHER) over your complete eyelid from the lash line up to the brow bone using your fingertips or the included applicator.

Brighten your eyes by applying the iridescent golden dust of the gold champagne 'Embrace of Cashmere' (Loose Glitter Pigments FIRE DROPS) with the RBR Large Shader 003 over the complete eye area up to the crease; blend up and outwards. Take the RBR Mini Shader 005 for the application of the same colour along the lower lash line from the outside of the eyes to the inner corners.

For the smoky look add the scintillating medium taupe brown 'Caress of Mink' which includes pewter-plum highlights with the Large Shader 003 concentrating on the crease blending up and outwards again. For the sultry, smoky effect apply the colour along the lower lash line with the RBR Mini Shader 005 starting at the outer edges and blending to the middle of the line.

Try a mixture of the Loose Glitter Pigments with the SEAS OF ILLUMINATION Highlighting Liquid 'Sea of Showers' for an extra touch of glow and pearly effect. Pump a pea-sized drop onto the back of your hand and mix the Loose Glitter Pigments with a brush into the liquid. When mixed well, start with the application as mentioned above.

Blend everything well with the Crease Brush 012 to avoid hard lines between the darker and lighter eye shadows and to soften the tone.

Draw a fine line with the creamy Long-lasting Eye Pencil or Eye Khol FELINE GAZE in shade 'Lola' along your upper and lower lashes. Smudge if needed with the RBR Mini Shader 005 or Applicator 015.

Complete the eyes using several layers of the deep black Modelling Mascara WITCHERY 'Midnight' for a soft dramatic effect. Wiggle the wand from left to right starting at the base of the lashes for definition and to cover each individual lash for the full effect.


Lips
For these soft, shining, very healthy lips our make-up artists recommend the SUCCULENCE OF DEW Sheer Lipstick 'Dark Juices' applied with fingertips to achieve the most natural result possible.

Depending on your lip colour, and your personal comfort zone, you can pick any other colour from our Sheer Lipsticks.
