Review- CoverGirl TRUcheeks Blush Trio

About the company:
COVERGIRL is an American cosmetics brand founded in 1960 in Maryland, by the Noxzema Chemical Company (later called Noxell) and acquired by Procter & Gamble in 1989. The Noxell Company advertised this cosmetics line by allowing "cover girls", fashion models who appear on the front cover of women's magazines, to wear its products. COVERGIRL makes up for lack of direct individual customer service by providing a wide variety of cosmetics available at reasonable prices.

What the brand claims:
Three blushes in one compact, TruCheeks Blush perfectly matches your skin tone for a natural, no makeup look. TruCheeks is specially designed to work with TRUblend foundation, pressed powder and concealer; select your blush, 1 - 6, then look for the corresponding foundation, concealer and powder!; 3 complimentary skin-flushed shades; shade numbering system that helps you coordinate your make-up flawlessly; Lightweight, blendable; Dermatalogically tested.

My Experience:
I have this trio in shades number 2. As shown above it comes with 3 different colors of blushers. Two in smaller portions and one is a bigger one. All the ingredients, production and expiry details are clearly listed on the back of the compact case:

It comes in a plastic case with a clear flip lid making the colors visible from outside which i guess helps while picking up things from your stash while in hurry. Also not to forget it comes with a mini blush brush with very soft and fluffy bristles making it just perfect for blush application. Even though it does not come with a mirror I love the fact that i don't need to carry a separate brush with this.

The one I got has a very dark deep brown shade on the left, in the middle its a pinky peachy shade and on the right its a creamish shade. All these blushes have shimmer in them and they are powdery blushes. The best thing i love about all these three blushes is that you can work on the darkness of these shades and can built them up while applying. At times I end up using all three of them together where I use the brown shade as a blush, then the pink one to shape up the features of my face specially nose and jaw line and then the creamy shade which is the lightest to highlight my brow bones and cheek bones.

Overall, I love this product, its good value for money and is very handy to use. It's a must have!! They are very well pigmented and would never give a chalky look. It retails at about $5.50 which is very economical compared to buying three blushes separately and adding a brush to it.
