Review & Swatches- Elizabeth Arden Mini Pallete

About the company:
A legendary innovator and a tireless entrepreneur, Miss Elizabeth Arden established the American beauty industry a century ago. Born Florence Nightingale Graham, she travelled from rural Canada to New York City, where she opened the first Red Door salon on Fifth Avenue in 1910.

Elizabeth Arden’s fundamental belief was that beauty should not be a veneer of makeup, but an intelligent cooperation between science and nature in order to develop a woman’s finest natural assets. She lived by her mantra, "To be beautiful and natural is the birthright of every woman."
Miss Arden created skin care products that benefited, not masked, the skin. She not only promoted her concept of Total Beauty, including diligent skincare, nutrition and fitness, but lived it prudently as she persistently sought to bring a scientific approach to skincare formulations.

What the Brand claims:

It was a free item received upon purchases of $500 and above and no Internet listings have been found.

My Experience:
This is how the pallete looks like from the inside, it consists of:
2 eye shadows: 'Tulie' & 'Smoke'
2 lip glosses: 'Pink Lemonade' & 'Radiant Mauve'
1 cheek color: 'Sugar Plum'
1 mirror attached to the case
2 brushes: 'mini blush brush' and 'double sided lip brush and eye shadow sponge applicator'

As I mentioned earlier I got this as a free gift with my other purchases from Elizabeth Arden. I have had this pallete for a while now and it comes where handy while on the go as I don't have to carry all these things separately they all come in one compact case, it is very light making it easier to carry. It locks down tightly to avoid any type of spills and can easily fit in your handbag. While using this you wouldn't need much of other makeup items to be carried separately.

Starting from the blush, it is a Sugar Plum shade it is a mixture of pinkish and brownish tones and suit me really well. It is kind of dry though but can always be used to do touch up using its mini blush brush.

The eye shadows do not show the exact shade as to what they look like when applied. The eye shadows are shimmery but are not very well pigmented specially the lighter shade which I assume is the Tulie, the other one still gives a better coverage and shows well.

Moving on to the glosses. I have never been a fan of palleted lip colors as I don't enjoy using a brush to apply them and using your fingers is just a mess. But never the less I do end up using these at times and I have to agree I love both the shades and they are very well pigmented, they are true to their colors  as well. But the quantity is very less, seems like I would be running out of them soon.

Here are how the blended swatches look like starting from blush on the left then the eye shadows in the middle and glosses on the right. And the Eye-shadows look sooo different when applied.

Overall, this product is very handy I use it very often while on the go, so I would definitely recommend it if you manage to get your hands on it!
