Review-The Body Shop Love Gloss

Today I'm back with another review of one of the glosses I own. This is The Body Shop- Love Gloss.

About the Company:

The Body Shop International plc. is the original, natural and ethical beauty brand, with over 2,500 stores in over 60 markets worldwide. They practise strictly no animal testing and are famous for their nature friendly products.

What the brand claims:

With a unique heart-shaped applicator, you will fall in love with the gorgeous selection of eight shades of Love Gloss! The heart applicator not only looks pretty but it also effortlessly contours your lips with gloss, giving both definition and colour intensity.

Key Ingredients:
-Cocoa butter

-Coconut oil

-Sunflower Seed Oil

It of course has plenty of other natural ingredients as well that are openly listed on the product itself and can be found on their website also.

My Experience:

I got this in shade 15 which is Dusky Lavender. The gloss has a smooth consistency with a lot of shimmer and sparkles in it. It comes with pressed heart shaped wand that only picks up the desired amount of gloss from the container. It has a sort of sticky consistency probably due to presence of cocoa butter and other oil. I love this gloss for it colour and softening nature but the extra fruity smell makes me avoid it but for some it might be really refreshing. The packaging of this gloss is simple, it is hard-core clear plastic at bottom and the top has been given a mirror effect on the outer side of wand part. This gloss is available in 9 different shades and flavours each with its own texture and consistency. This is how the wand looks like:

It retails at $10 for a 7.5 ml, and can be found online on body shop websites in the countries available or can definitely be found at all body shop outlets worldwide. Overall, this gloss isn't a must buy but if you are fond of natural products or you are a body shop brand lover then it worth a try!

not so long staying power

can be a bit sticky

the extra fruity smell can put you off
